Regular local events

A full list of social and recreational groups in Clifford is available here. The following list is a selection of regular events and activities in the wider Golden Valley area.

Clifford Country Market: A small group of local residents has joined forces to get the Clifford Country Market off the ground. The market is held on the first Saturday of each month, 10am-1pm at the community centre.

Anything grown or made locally can be sold at the market, which is open to everyone. Sellers can take a whole table or just a basket if they only have a few items. There will be tea, coofee and cakes for sale, as well as an activity for children. For more details please e-mail Andrew Craven.

Vowchurch County Produce Market
is held on the last Saturday of every month (except the end of December and the end of January). It takes place from 10.00am - 1.00pm at the Vowchurch and Turnastone Memorial Hall.

The Golden Valley Environment Group meets every month at the Golden Valley Community Centre in Peterchurch.

Golden Valley police station holds regular community consulations throughout the area as part of its PACT (Police and Communities Acting Together) programme. For more information e-mail PC Christine Griffiths.
